| Did you know? Van Metre Homes led the renovation of a historic six-bedroom home that provided new safe and stable housing for two homeless families. The project was 78% donated and has helped to provide a home for homeless families and survivors of domestic violence. |  |
| The Ives House, owned by Falls Church Presbyterian Church and operated by Shelter House, had been vacant for several years and was badly in need of repair. Van Metre stepped up as Builder Captain for the project, leading a renovation that was valued at nearly $40,000. The transformation was remarkable – together, Van Metre Homes, HomeAid and 15 trade partners, sub-contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers turned this house from a building into disrepair into a home for families in need of a safe place to live. |
